Job Title: Japanese speaking Associate - Japanese Corporate Banking
Location: London, The City
Permanent/ Full time
Salary: Up to £45,000
Hybrid – Minimum 3 days in the office.
Working hours: 37.5 hours
Japanese speaking Associate - Japanese Corporate Banking - What You'll be Doing:
- Respond promptly and accurately to client enquiries as the initial point of contact, ensuring consistently high standards of service whilst cultivating enduring client relationships.
- Administer a broad spectrum of administrative duties related to account management and transaction execution, adhering meticulously to internal policies and procedures for seamless operations.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple international locations to resolve client-related matters efficiently, escalating issues appropriately to Relationship Managers or senior management when required.
- Establish and maintain peer networks throughout company by gathering pertinent information and fostering effective inter-office cooperation.
- Remain conversant with internal systems, procedures, manuals, and products—including general banking services, credit facilities, deposits, loans, and foreign exchange—to respond effectively to both client and internal queries.

Japanese speaking Associate - Japanese Corporate Banking - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Demonstrable experience in a client-facing capacity within corporate banking or financial services where collaborative effort was paramount.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Business Japanese alongside fluent English communication skills enabling effective engagement with clients and colleagues alike.
- Advanced competence in Microsoft Office applications—particularly Excel and Word—for efficient management of data-driven tasks.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and quality of output at all times.
