About the Role
An international financial institution is seeking a Japanese-speaking corporate finance officer to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Carry out additional duties as requested by Managers.
- Swiftly and professionally report situations and progress to Managers, seeking their guidance on next steps where necessary.
- Support Managers in team activities while following instructions, taking on operational responsibilities within departments.
- Assist other staff in achieving the Department’s mission.
- Support business expansion and client development by leveraging the Bank’s products and services, engaging with existing and new EMEA Corporate/Fund clients.
- Conduct risk analysis, credit applications, and documentation for credit facilities and deposits.
- Collaborate with relevant Head Office departments for business promotion.
- Assist in crafting medium-term, annual, and semi-annual business plans, aiming for set targets aligned with Head Office directives.
- Promote new business concepts, including credit, deposit, asset management, risk management, and portfolio management.
- Perform monitoring and self-assessed evaluations.

Requirements
- Good educational background, preferably at degree level.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; Japanese fluency is strongly desired.
- Previous experience working in a banking environment.
- Strong communication skills with clients, senior colleagues, and team members.
