About the Role
We’re hiring a Java Backend Developer on a contract basis for one of our clients. The focus will be on developing and maintaining scalable Java applications, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications and services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in existing Java applications.
- Work with product managers and engineers to clarify and implement system requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java (Core Java, J2EE) and related frameworks.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of:
- RESTful APIs
- Microservices architecture
- Databases (SQL & NoSQL)
- Version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in an Agile environment.
