About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Java Developer to join Kainos’s dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-quality software solutions that serve our clients and enhance user experiences worldwide. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, in an agile environment to deliver innovative features and functionalities. The role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about new technologies, contribute to cutting-edge projects, and influence the technical direction of our solutions. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient digital services, including solutions integrated with the Workday ecosystem and AI-driven enhancements.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, collaborative spirit, and a passion for innovation. Essential qualifications include experience in building and testing modern software applications using Java and TypeScript, familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure, and knowledge of frameworks like Angular, Spring, Hibernate, or Dropwizard. A solid understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, application of common design principles and patterns, and experience working in team environments are also required. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement. Desirable qualifications include exposure to modern version control and CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with the Workday ecosystem.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software applications using Java and related technologies.
