About The Role
We are seeking a talented Java Developer to join Kainos’s dynamic development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that enhance the capabilities of our products, particularly within the Workday ecosystem. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our digital services, contributing to projects that serve clients globally. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, collaborative spirit, and a proactive attitude. Essential qualifications include:
- Experience in modern software development
- Proficiency in Java and TypeScript
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Hands-on experience with frameworks like Angular, Spring, Hibernate, or Dropwizard
- Comfortable working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Solid understanding of design principles and patterns
- Experience working within team environments
Desirable qualifications include:
- Exposure to version control and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities
As a Java Developer at Kainos, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions that meet client requirements
- Collaborating with product teams to understand project needs
- Contributing to technical planning and implementing new features using Java, TypeScript, and related frameworks
- Ensuring code quality through testing and code reviews
- Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives
- Integrating cloud services and optimizing application performance
- Troubleshooting issues within development and test environments
- Contributing to AI projects aimed at enhancing development workflows
