Java Developer
Java Developer – Full-Time (Hybrid)

The Role: Java Developer
We’re looking for a talented Java Developer to shape the future of healthcare through technical ownership of services for Expert Health.
Key responsibilities:
- Core Development: Contribute to the design, testing, and deployment of new medical services at scale, from build to rollout.
- Microservices Architecture: Work within a scalable, cloud-based (GCP) microservices model, applying SOLID, SOLID, ACID, and OO design principles.
- Collaboration: Partner with product owners, clinicians, and cross-functional teams to balance technical quality with business goals.
- Cutting-Edge Tech: Engage with clinical algorithms, cloud platforms (GCP), and emerging tools to elevate patient care.
- Problem-Solving: Actively participate in team discussions, champion ideas, and resolve challenges collaboratively.
- Trade-Offs & Quality: Navigate business constraints to ensure every delivery increment delivers clear value to our competitive edge.

Qualifications & Requirements
You have:
- 5+ years Java development experience (Java 1.8+, Spring Boot, MySQL)
- Strong cloud experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure) + DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions)
- Technical depth in microservices architecture and SOLID/OO design
- BDD proficiency (Cucumber, JUne tests)
Nick-to-have:
- React in full-stack development contexts
- Familiarity with GoLang
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Integration with Shopify/e-commerce platforms
