An innovative organisation in the technical consultancy space is looking for a Java Engineer

The successful candidate will work at the intersection of backend engineering and artificial intelligence, building systems that integrate machine learning models, data pipelines, and cloud-native services.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications.
  • Integrate AI/ML models into production-grade backend systems.
  • Build RESTful APIs and microservices using modern Java frameworks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to deploy and scale machine learning solutions.
  • Optimise system performance, scalability, and security.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience with Java 12+, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into backend systems.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and database design.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
