Java Fullstack Developer
Java Fullstack Developer – Financial Services (Cloud & Custom Applications) | Capgemini
About the Role
Join Capgemini’s Financial Services (FS) Business Unit within the Cloud & Custom Applications (C&CA) practice as a Java Fullstack Developer. In this role, you’ll help architect the future by delivering scalable, high-quality applications that drive meaningful business outcomes.

Working Model: Hybrid Roles
- Your daily workdays will blend company offices, client sites, and your home
- Note: You will not work from home 100% of the time
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver robust, scalable applications aligned with business and customer outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design and deliver end-to-end solutions
- Drive engineering excellence through clean coding, peer reviews, and continuous improvement
- Ensure applications are secure, high-performing, and resilient by design
- Contribute to architecture decisions for long-term scalability and adaptability
- Actively participate in agile delivery for timely, high-quality releases
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of Continuous Learning & Innovation
- Showcase awareness of emerging trends—including AI-enabled development—to elevate delivery outcomes
- Take ownership of deliverables, proactively addressing risks and challenges

Your Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
- Proficient backend development with Java
- Experience with Angular for frontend building
- Strong track-record delivering scalable, enterprise-grade solutions
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and modern architecture principles
- Hands-on experience with API design and integration
Problem-Solving & Collaboration
- Proven ability to tackle complex challenges with a business-value focus
- Adept at working in agile, collaborative environments
Standards & Practices
- Solid grasp of performance, security, and quality engineering principles
Soft Skills & Awareness
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) concepts/application in software development
