Java L3 Support Engineer

Job Title: L3 Java Support Engineer (Banking / Financial Services) Location: London Employment Type: Contract Role Overview We are seeking an experienced L3 Java Support Engineer with a strong background in banking/financial systems to provide advanced production support for mission-critical applications. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring system stability, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to deliver high availability and performance. Required Skills & Experience: Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (multithreading, collections, exception handling). Solid experience in SQL (complex queries, joins, performance tuning). Good working knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting. Proven experience in L3 Production Support / Application Support roles. Experience with log analysis tools and debugging techniques. Understanding of incident/problem management processes (ITIL preferred). Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain (payments, trading, cards, core banking, etc.). Salary: 100 - 300 GBP Per day
