Job Summary
Seeking a Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in Java and React to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications with expertise in core Java, multithreading, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, and investment banking domain knowledge.
Job Description
- Design and develop robust applications using Core Java, ReactJS, and associated frameworks
- Utilize multithreading algorithms and data structures to build efficient and scalable solutions
- Develop and maintain cloud-native applications leveraging Kubernetes and Amazon AWS services
- Implement RESTful APIs and gRPC for seamless backend and frontend integration
- Build responsive and user-friendly UI components using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and state management tools like Redux or Context API
- Integrate Kafka for event streaming and real-time data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, ideally within the investment banking and risk domain
- Follow best coding practices and ensure code quality through thorough testing
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Java, React, cloud-native technologies, and investment banking trends
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues to optimize performance and reliability
- Document application design, architecture, and operational procedures

- Lead development initiatives within the React/Java/Cloud Native skill cluster
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and gRPC services to ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend systems
- Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using Kubernetes and AWS
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers on Core Java, ReactJS, Kafka, and cloud-native best practices
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Ensure adherence to security compliance standards and best practices in application development
- Optimize application performance and scalability based on monitoring and feedback
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain high system availability
- Apply investment banking domain knowledge, particularly in risk management, to align technical solutions with business needs
