Role: Java Software Engineer
Title: Associate/AVP
Location: Glasgow, UK (Locals or Nearby Preferred)
Experience: 5-8 years
Mode of Work: Onsite 3-4 days per week
Required skills:
- Experience with Java/J2EE, DB technologies.
- Experience with Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Spring boot.
- Experience on Databases & Linux/Unix.
- Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.js. - Good to have
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Knowledge of database systems: SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), and optionally NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of design and development skills.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in a fast-based business environment with a proven ability to balance multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- The ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.
- The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to multitask and disciplined attention to detail, along with a team player mentality.
