Java Developer
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java and a solid understanding of DevOps practices to join a high-performing global engineering team. The successful candidate will develop and enhance Front Office eTrading applications, working closely with Traders, Sales, and Quant teams to build scalable, low-latency, and high-performance trading solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Front Office eTrading applications.
- Collaborate with Traders, Sales, and Quant teams to deliver innovative trading solutions.
- Build scalable, robust, and low-latency enterprise applications.
- Improve platform performance, stability, and maintainability.
- Enhance automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and UAT processes.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.
- Provide third-line support during core trading hours.
- Work with globally distributed engineering and support teams.
- Follow Agile development practices and engineering best practices.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development.
- Strong expertise in Multithreading and Concurrency.
- Experience with Spring Framework.
- Good knowledge of Linux environments.
- Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle/SQL).
- Understanding of enterprise application architecture.
- Experience with Agile, Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, and software development best practices.
- Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns, and Object-Oriented Programming.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with GitHub, Jira, SonarQube, TeamCity, IntelliJ IDEA, and Gradle.
- Experience working on Fixed Income, Electronic Trading, or Capital Markets applications.
- Knowledge of ION and KDB.
- Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Devin.
