Java Engineer (Low Latency Systems)

Experience: 4–12 years

Key Skills & Technologies

  • Strong engineering mindset with expertise in Java
  • Low latency programming techniques
  • Google gRPC (Remote Procedure Call)
  • **gvproxy ([GVP](https://cloud.google.com/functions/docs/g銘 powodrocstere)-proxy), Terraform
  • Kubernetes, GCR (Google Container Registry), **Podman 5 on RedHat 9
  • Test automation of end-to-end flows:
    • Code coverage
    • Mutation test coverage
    • Mocking Java services in DB
  • Performance testing of development environments with performance graph generation
  • Mono-repo testing (microservice-to-microservice)
  • Performance testing tools: Gatling, BlazeMeter

  • Design and implement low-latency, high-performance Java applications
  • Build and maintain distributed systems leveraging:
    • Kafka
    • CockroachDB
    • gRPC
  • Ensure robust test automation and performance validation across environments
  • Collaborate on infrastructure setup with:
    • Kubernetes
    • Terraform
    • Container registries
