Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with exposure to DevOps to join a Front Office eTrading technology team. You will design, develop, and support high-performance, low-latency trading applications while collaborating closely with Traders, Quants, and global engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based Front Office trading applications.
- Build scalable, low-latency, and robust enterprise solutions.
- Collaborate with Traders, Quants, and cross-functional global teams.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.
- Provide third-line production support during trading hours.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java and Multithreading/Concurrency.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred).
- Good knowledge of Linux and relational databases.
- Solid understanding of enterprise application architecture, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and XML.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Front Office Trading or Capital Markets applications.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products (Repos, US Treasuries, Interest Rate Swaps).
- Experience with OpenShift, GitHub, Jira, TeamCity, SonarQube, Gradle, and IntelliJ.
- Experience with KDB, ION, or low-latency trading platforms.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Devin.
