Java Software Engineer
Java Software Engineer – Partnership with Leading UK Retailer
We're partnering with a leading UK retailer that's investing heavily in its technology platform and is looking for talented Java Engineers to join a high-performing engineering team. You'll play a key role in designing and developing highly scalable, resilient systems that power services used by millions of customers.
What You'll Be Working On
- Building high-performance, scalable Java applications
- Designing resilient, cloud-native solutions
- Working within agile, cross-functional engineering teams

What We’re Looking For
Engineers with experience in:
- Strong Java development skills
- Building highly scalable, distributed systems
- Microservices architecture
- Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- RESTful APIs
- CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
- Collaborative Agile environments

The Role
- 3 days per week in Welwyn Garden City, 2 days from home
- Up to £100k pay + up to 20% bonus
