Write and review high-quality code across the front end and supporting service layer, leading by example through hands-on contribution.
Establish engineering standards, architecture principles, and development practices that enable the team to move quickly without compromising quality.
Champion AI-native engineering practices, identifying opportunities to automate, accelerate, and improve how we build products.
Partner closely with Product, Customer Success, and senior leadership to shape priorities, influence strategy, and ensure we are solving the right problems.
Requirements:
- Deep JavaScript/TypeScript expertise across the stack.
- A track record of building, shipping, and owning complex products, ideally as a Lead Engineer, Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, or senior individual contributor.
- Fluency with modern AI-native and agentic development workflows, with a demonstrated ability to leverage AI tooling to increase productivity, quality, and impact.
- Strong product instincts and the judgement to make pragmatic trade-offs that balance customer value, technical quality, and commercial outcomes.
- The ability to operate with high levels of autonomy in a fast-moving, founder-led environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and influence decisions across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A customer-first mindset and genuine curiosity about how technology creates value for users and the business.
- Experience mentoring engineers and helping to build high-performing teams, even if you have not held formal people management responsibility.
- A passion for raising engineering standards through coaching, collaboration, and leading by example.
- Strong systems thinking, with experience designing solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and resilient.
- A growth mindset, willingness to challenge assumptions, embrace feedback, and continuously learn as technology evolves.
- Experience working in high-growth, scale-up, SaaS, platform, or product-led environments is highly desirable.
- Experience with Vue 3, Vite, and the broader modern front-end ecosystem (Preferred not required)
- Experience building products within hosting, cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, control panels, SaaS platforms, or other highly technical environments.
