HGV Jetting Assistant – Kinmel Bay, Northern Wales

We are recruiting for an HGV Jetting Assistant to join our team in Northern Wales, working closely with the HGV Jetting Operative to carry out high-pressure jetting tasks.


About The Role

Salary & Pay Details

  • Starting hourly rate: £13.25 to £14.25 per hour (depending on experience).
  • Location: Kinmel Bay, Northern Wales
  • Hours: 07:30am – 17:00pm, 1 in 4 on-call duties
  • Payment: Weekly

Responsibilities

  • Assist the HGV Jetting Operator in setting up and operating high-pressure water jetting equipment, ensuring safe machinery operation
  • Conduct inspections to identify blockages, leaks and resolve issues efficiently
  • Update & complete site documentation using an electronic tablet
  • Ensure all work aligns with approved method statements & safe systems of work, while strictly following health and safety regulations
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
  • Wear and maintain provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times

Experience & Qualifications

  • Full UK driving license (with no more than 6 penalty points)
  • Training provided for:
    • Water Jetting Association Red/Blue Book certification
    • Banksman
    • NRSWA (National Register of Water Hygiene)
    • EUSR National Water Hygiene
    • Medium risk confined space entry
