We are currently recruiting for A Jetting Supervisors to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across North Wales. About The Role

As a Site Supervisor, you will:

  • Be responsible for leading operational teams within a defined catchment, ensuring seamless end-to-end management of all works while delivering an exceptional customer journey. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the crews which will include the planning and execution of the works. The main purpose of this role is to drive performance and productivity along with health and safety compliance.
  • Lead and motivate a team to deliver all aspects of planning and operations.
  • Management of the operatives reporting into them.
  • Maintain accurate records of site resources, materials and plant and providing daily resource sheets.
  • Ensuring all operatives have appropriate vehicles, equipment, stores, and skills to perform allocated work.
  • Pre-siting when required to confirm what other requirements will be needed to complete works due to locations.
  • To provide sufficient and timely supervision, assessments and coaching to ensure gangs are performing to our sufficient company standards.
  • Regularly undertake all necessary and appropriate Toolbox Talks, Briefings, and other communications.
  • Maintain own levels of skills and knowledge to do the job effectively.
  • Ensure all clients set KPI’s are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure all operative training records and ID Cards records are kept up to date – liaising with training department.
  • Ensure all timesheets are submitted within the timescales set by payroll. And these are checked and correct at the time of submission. Where necessary telematics checks are carried out to verify timesheet submission.
  • Ensuring all operatives driving company vehicles adhere to company policy, where necessary interventions to be carried out to coach or take disciplinary action against offenders that is relevant to the offence committed.
  • To manage and assess the competencies of all operatives on site through the competency assessment program.
  • Ensure all required information is sent in from site teams to produce sales.
  • Manage all day-to-day HR queries ensuring all updates are added to the HR system, and all HR processes and procedures are followed.
  • To ensure all regulatory data and job specifications are done checked and fed back to a high standard.
  • Comply with relevant company HSEQ and welfare policy provisions.
  • To perform weekly fleet and plant checks ensuring fleet, plant and equipment maintenance is carried out and calibrated within the correct timescales.
  • Perform quality on site assessments checks (x8 Audits per month, minimum 4 onsite audits).
  • Liaise with customers, clients, sub-contractors, local authorities and other interested third parties regarding past, present, and future works.
  • Ensuring all operatives have correct PPE whilst working.
  • Managing subcontract performance.
  • Conduct detailed and thorough site visits.
  • Deliver works safely and on time, whilst adhering to requirements.

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Possess previous experience of supervision within the Waste Water Industry.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
  • This role is about managing people, so previous managerial experience is essential. We aspire to get the best out of all our employees & you will be key to this!
  • Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Have excellent time management skills, with ability to deliver tasks to deadline.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving targets.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.
  • Proven experience in a previous Supervisor Role within the Utilities Sector – preferably in the Drainage Industry.

Working Hours & Location

  • Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 45 hours per week. 1 in 4 weeks stand by requirement.
  • Location: North Wales and surrounding regional areas.
  • Company Car / Car allowance.
  • 25 days holiday + Bank holidays.
