Jewellery Assistant Buyer (13011)

Assistant Buyer – Buying Team (Leicester, Head Office)

Here at Watches of Switzerland Group, we are looking for an Assistant Buyer to join our Buying Team at our Head Office in Leicester.

As an Assistant Buyer, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Buyer to:

  • Drive commercial performance
  • Shape compelling product ranges
  • Bring exciting newness to the department

This is a fantastic opportunity to build your buying career in a fast-paced luxury retail environment, while developing your skills in:

  • Trade analysis
  • Negotiation
  • Range planning
  • Product development
  • Cross-functional collaboration

About You

You’ll need:

  • Proven success at Buyer Admin or Assistant Buyer level, with an ambition to take the next step in your career.
  • A strong eye for product, trend, and innovation.
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities while staying organised and solutions-focused.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to:
    • Work within budgets
    • Spot opportunities for profitable growth
  • The ability to:
    • Coach, motivate, and contribute to a high-performing team culture
    • Help shape and plan retail ranges
    • Prepare and present range and product proposals
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A good understanding of the market, customer, and competitors.
  • A professional, positive approach with the ability to perform under pressure.
