Make-Up Artist Role – Prestige Beauty Retail

As one of our highly skilled make-up artists, you will combine your creative and technical expertise along with your passion for people to deliver an in-store experience that is welcoming, inspirational, and personalized. Your goal is to educate and delight customers while reflecting our brand's high standards.

You will work collaboratively within a high-performing team to:

  • Create impact through in-store events
  • Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards that set us apart from competitors

About the Role

  • Combine technical and creative make-up skills to enhance the in-store experience
  • Engage with customers through educational make-up consultations

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized make-up services that reflect our brand while offering high value and expertise
  • Deliver live make-up demos and tailored advice for a variety of skin tones, styles, and customer needs
  • Help coordinates in-store events to engage customers and drive sales
  • Ensure product presentation and visual merchandising standards are maintained daily
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support sales goals and staff development

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Strong technical and creative make-up expertise (certification in make-up artistry is preferred but not mandatory)
  • Retail make-up experience (valuable but not essential)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with demonstrated amateur-level make-up techniques with excellent potential
  • Exceptional customer service skills – ensure inspirational, authentic, and personalized interactions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment with varied duties
  • Experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software (advantageous)
  • Flexibility to work weekday evenings, Saturday mornings, weekends, and weekends/special events
