Summary
We would like to inform you that we have a request from our client for an inspection quotation for Transformer and switchgear in the UK OTDC company’s facilities (Redhill- near to London).
Scope of Inspection
The proposed scope of inspection visits to cover:
- Level 1 Inspection for Transformers: This level requires only final inspection to release material or equipment for shipment.
- Ensure complete equipment and/or material is by the purchase order.
- Is properly identified.
- Is adequately prepared for shipment.
- Documentation requirements have been fulfilled.
- This could include a final system check.

- Level 2 Inspection for Switchgears: This level requires a pre-fabrication visit, to review quality requirements established in the purchase order, plus coverage of all Witness and Hold Points. Also includes 'Review for Pre-Shipment Inspection', per Level 1.
Requirements for Inspectors
Inspectors should be well experienced in inspection, testing, and documentation, and certified in ASME, API, ISO, and other international quality standards.
