As an Enterprise Architect – Cloud, you will play a critical role in shaping SEFE’s technology landscape, driving cloud transformation and ensuring alignment between business strategy, IT strategy, and enterprise architecture. You will provide architectural leadership across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments, enabling secure, scalable, and resilient solutions that support business growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
What Will You Do
- Lead the evolution of SEFE’s cloud strategy, driving the adoption of cloud-native SaaS and PaaS solutions while ensuring effective integration with existing on-premises and hybrid environments.
- Define and govern enterprise architecture standards, policies, and frameworks, ensuring technology decisions align with business objectives, security requirements, and architectural principles.
- Partner with business leaders, IT teams, data owners, and key stakeholders to develop technology roadmaps, evaluate strategic initiatives, and ensure architecture supports current and future business needs.
- Establish and continuously improve enterprise architecture processes, governance practices, and tooling to provide visibility, consistency, and control across the technology landscape.
- Drive security, compliance, and resilience by incorporating information security requirements, regulatory obligations, disaster recovery capabilities, and business continuity considerations into architectural designs.
- Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to optimise costs, improve performance, enhance security, and deliver innovation across the organisation.

What Will You Bring
- Proven experience leading cloud transformation initiatives and enterprise architecture programmes across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including SaaS, PaaS, systems integration, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, governance models, technology strategy, and the alignment of IT capabilities with business objectives.
- Experience designing and governing security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity architectures, including RTO/RPO planning and cloud-based resilience solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technology challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build strong relationships across business and technology functions.

This is a contract role, initially for 6 months with the potential to extend. Based in our Manchester office, conveniently located close to travel networks we offer the opportunity to follow a hybrid working model.
