Building Services Project & Maintenance Support Role – Birmingham

The Role

We are seeking a full-time, on-site support role based in Birmingham to assist in the delivery of building services projects and maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and external partners to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Plan, organise, and coordinate tasks, tracking project progress against timelines and milestones.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of records and documentation, including compliance paperwork.
  • Apply and uphold company procedures, protocols, and health & safety regulations.
  • Engage in problem-solving, propose improvements, and contribute to continuous enhancement of processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure alignment and punctual work execution.

Required Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Practical and organisational experience in domestic property maintenance within building services, preferably within a professional or trade setting.
  • Proven ability to interpret technical information, project documentation, and compliance guidelines.
  • Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in collaborative environments (e.g., contractors, clients, trade partners).
  • Strong attention to detail, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Health & safety awareness, including knowledge of on-site working practices and risk mitigation.
  • basic computer literacy for email management, project systems, and digital documentation.
  • A vocational training certification or professional qualification (where applicable) in building services trades is an advantage.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and an commitment to ongoing learning to stay current with industry standards.
