About the Role

As a Joiner at YourRetreats, you’ll work hands-on in crafting our premium, tailor-made lodges from start to finish. You’ll handle a range of high-quality materials—from structural timber frameworks to intricate interior finishes, including:

  • Flooring
  • Partitioning
  • Cladding
  • Bespoke fittings

This is a workshop-based role where precision, care, and detail-driven excellence are essential. You’ll collaborate closely with a skilled team to ensure every lodge meets our uncompromising luxury and craftsmanship standards—delivering exceptional escapes for our clients.


Responsibilities

  • Construct, install, and repair wooden structures—doors, frames, floors, and ceilings
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials with technical accuracy
  • Install cabinets, counters, and furniture; repair and assemble prefabricated structures
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring all work meets exact specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate closely with other tradespeople on-site and off-site
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and in safe working condition

Requirements

  • Experience in the construction industry as a Joiner
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools (hand and power tools)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
  • Proficiency in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High-level health and safety awareness, including:
    • Working at heights
    • Safe operation of power tools
