Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Joiner to join a well-established team working on a commercial maintenance contract across Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled joiner looking for long-term, ongoing work with a busy and growing maintenance contractor.
Your new role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Joiner, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance works across commercial buildings, ensuring all repairs are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- General joinery repairs and maintenance
- Hanging and repairing doors
- Fitting locks, handles and ironmongery
- Repairing skirting boards, architraves and flooring
- Minor partitioning and fire door repairs
- Completing reactive maintenance works
- Basic multi-skilled tasks including patch plastering, tiling, painting and general building repairs

What You'll Need To Succeed
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience in commercial maintenance environments
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently
- Own tools preferred
