Role Description
As a Joiner at YourRetreats, you’ll play a hands-on role in crafting our premium, tailor-made lodges from the ground up. Working with a variety of high-quality materials, you'll be involved in everything from structural timber frameworks to detailed interior finishes, including flooring, partitioning, cladding, and bespoke fittings. This is a workshop-based role where precision, care, and pride in your work are key. You’ll collaborate closely with a skilled team to ensure every lodge meets our exacting standards of luxury and craftsmanship—delivering outstanding spaces our clients can truly escape to.

Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, such as doors, frames, floors, and ceilings
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials accurately based on project requirements
- Install cabinets and counters, repair furniture, and assemble prefabricated structures
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure items are built to specifications and quality standards
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, both on-site and off-site
- Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and in safe working condition

Requirements
- Experience in the construction industry as a Joiner
- Extensive knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, plastic, and other materials
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Health and safety awareness and compliance, including working at heights and using power tools safely
