Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Joiner/Window Fitter role based in Clackmannanshire. The role involves measuring and installing windows, doors, and related joinery components according to specifications and building standards.

Responsibilities:


Get help with your application

- Preparing work areas
- Using hand tools and power tools safely
- Carrying out finish carpentry
- Ensuring all installations are secure, weather-tight, and presentable
- Inspecting completed work, addressing minor adjustments
- Maintaining a clean, organized worksite
- Working with site supervisors
- Following health and safety procedures
- Interacting professionally with clients and colleagues
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in carpentry and related structural joinery.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, with an emphasis on safe and accurate use.
- Experience in finish carpentry, ensuring neat, high-quality interior and exterior finishes.
- Previous experience in window and door fitting or a closely related trade is highly beneficial.
- Good understanding of construction safety practices and ability to follow site regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and installation instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and reliability in meeting deadlines.
- Full driving license and the ability to travel to sites around Scotland as required.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight for a couple of days if required.
