Joules Assistant Store Manager - CP Whinfell (N121024)

Assistant Store Manager – 38.75hrs (Store-based Role)

Location: Various Joules retail stores Working Pattern: 38.75hrs per week

  • Mondays: 10:00 – 18:30
  • Wednesdays: 10:00 – 18:30
  • Thursdays: 10:00 – 18:30
  • Fridays: 10:00 – 18:30
  • Saturdays: 08:30 – 17:00

Working alongside the Store Manager and across teams, you will drive high standards in retail operations, customer experience, and profitability—all while fostering a team culture that aligns with Joules’ commitment to excellence, inspiration, and joy.

About You

You are a results-driven Assistant Store Manager, balancing retail expertise with a strong commercial mindset. You take pride in elevating customer experiences and driving performance through exceptional team management.

  • Retail leadership: Proven success as a team supervisor or assistant manager, including managing KPIs, sales targets, and service standards.
  • Operational excellence: Ability to set and meet targets, improve efficiency, and maintain high retail standards.

Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Support the Store Manager in operational standards, ensuring profitability and always-on retail excellence.
  • Set and manage sales targets, KPIs, and team benchmarks while maintaining a customer-first culture.
  • Increase store performance through creative campaigns, promotional strategies, and high-impact product displays.
  • Drive in-store efficiency—merchandising, stock control, and workforce scheduling—to reduce waste and maximise revenue.
  • Build trust and engagement across the team, fostering a culture of connection, support, and personal growth.
  • Create instagrammable shopping experiences that reflect Joules’ iconic design and authentic British lifestyle.

Requirements

✅ Essential

  • Retail supervisory or assistant managerial experience (proven track record in retail management).
  • Deep understanding of multi-channel KPIs, sales performance, and customer-service standards.
  • Hygge mindset—you drive wellbeing among teammates by ensuring the right balance of excellence, enjoyment, and integrity.
  • Passion for Joules’ brand vision, including multi-category essentials—from lavish outerwear to heritage-inspired seasonal looks.

✅ Nice to Have

  • Experience in Rightsize locations or retail drop-ins (due to the Partner store model).
  • Skills in inventory planning, dynamic merchandising, or commercial promotions.
