Journalist (LAD)

About the Role
As a Journalist within LADbible Group, you will use your editorial talent to produce high-quality and thought-provoking articles – covering breaking news, features, interviews, reviews and more. You will help enhance the brand image by maintaining a strong online presence as well as developing and improving the quality of written articles.

What the opportunity looks like
- Write accurate, engaging, and informative content in line with tone of brand.
- Produce trending articles at speed while maintaining impeccable grammar, ensuring all deadlines and quotas are met.
- Pitching original ideas and follow-up angles for the biggest stories across our brands.
- Growing and utilising contacts for leads.
- Researching and seeking the latest news, trends, and reports ahead of competitors.
- Tracking article success with sessions and engage time, using this to pitch follow-ups and and improve your writing.
Skills and experience we'd like you to have
- Have a journalistic background with 1+ years experience in a newsroom/similar role.
- NCTJ Qualified
- You are target driven and understand the necessity for tight turnaround times.
- You have a proven ability to think, imagine and produce new and original ideas.
- You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office.
- A degree within a relevant field is desirable but not essential.
