Purpose

To source and support learners to engage on Skills Funded programmes and progress them into employment. The role involves conducting Initial Assessments, providing high-quality information, advice, and guidance (IAG), facilitating job referrals, building employer links, and ensuring all activity meets funding and compliance requirements.

The programme will deliver, face to face and remote Construction, Hospitality courses with embedded employability, to unemployed residents of London with the aim of moving them into employment.

Responsibilities

The Journey Adviser will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and recruiting voluntary referrals in line with eligibility criteria, onto accredited courses
  • Undertaking an initial assessment
  • Supporting with creation of a CV
  • Moving participants into employment post course

The role will predominately be face to face in London.

The Journey Adviser will prioritise the participant's needs by:

  • Providing individualised, timely support, encouragement, and guidance
  • Establishing and maintaining strong networks to drive referrals and create opportunities for participants
  • Working diligently towards targets
  • Ensuring compliance and upholding quality standards to deliver exceptional outcomes for the participant

Location

You will be based in our Shepherds Bush office in London with frequent travel across London required.
