What To Expect

This position is primarily focused on industrial design, with the option to begin through a three to twelve-month internship placement before progressing into a full-time junior industrial designer role.

  • You will work closely with TG0’s industrial design, mechanical engineering, electronics, and product teams to develop innovative physical products from initial research and concept generation through to visualisation, CAD development, prototyping, and presentation.
  • You will contribute directly to live commercial projects and will be expected to take ownership of clearly defined design activities from an early stage.
  • Previous TG0 projects have included work for global brands across automotive, robotics, consumer electronics, fitness, healthcare, and premium audio.

A strong emphasis will be placed on visual quality. You will be expected to communicate ideas through refined sketches, high-quality renderings, clear presentation layouts, detailed CAD models, and convincing product visualisations suitable for internal design reviews and customer presentations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Look For

We are looking for candidates studying or recently graduated in Industrial Design, Product Design, Product Design Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

You should demonstrate a strong portfolio with particular evidence of:

  • High-quality product visualisation and rendering
  • Strong 3D CAD modelling and surfacing skills
  • Clear concept sketching and visual communication
  • Good understanding of product form, proportion, detail, and material application
  • Experience developing products from early concepts through to refined design proposals
  • Interest in CMF, user interaction, physical interfaces, and emerging technologies
  • Ability to create presentation-ready visuals for clients and internal design reviews
  • Interest in prototyping, model making, and translating digital designs into physical products

Candidates should have a strong visual eye and a high standard of presentation. We are especially interested in applicants who enjoy refining the quality of product imagery, CAD geometry, materials, lighting, composition, and overall design storytelling.

Experience with software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Blender, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools is valuable. Applicants do not need to use every platform, but should demonstrate confidence in both 3D modelling and professional-quality visualisation.
