Junior Data Scientist
Position: Machine Learning & Python Specialist with SQL (🐍)
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Data Scientist specialising in Machine Learning, Python, and SQL. You’ll transform raw data into meaningful business insights, develop cutting-edge predictive models, and drive impactful data-driven decisions. This role is perfect for someone with a strong practical philosophy—always pushing models from research into real-world production.
Key Responsibilities

Model Development & Implementation
- Design, develop, train, validate, and deploy Machine Learning models (classification, regression, clustering, and deep learning solutions) to solve complex business problems.

Data Wrangling & Analysis
- Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), cleaning, and feature engineering on large, complex (often unstructured) datasets.

Coding & Automation
- Write production-grade, scalable Python code for data processing, analysis, and model creation using core libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.

Experimentation & Optimization
- Perform A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and model validation. Continuously iterate, tune algorithms, and improve performance, accuracy, and efficiency.

Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, stakeholders) to define project scope, interpret results, and present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Deployment & MLOps
- Work alongside ML/Engineers to deploy, monitor, and sustain models in production—ensuring scalability, stability, and ongoing performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- Programming: Mastery of Python and libraries such as:
- Pandas, NumPy, SciPy
- Machine Learning: Hands-on experience with:
- Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
- Statistics & Math: Strong grasp of:
- Statistical modeling, probability, regression analysis, and multivariate calculus/linear algebra
- Databases & Querying:
- Proficiency in SQL (relational databases)
- Bonus points for NoSQL experience
- Big Data & Cloud:
- Familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Visualisation:
- Ability to create clear, engaging visuals using Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, or Power BI

Education & Experience
- Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: [ électriques ] years as a Data Scientist or in a highly quantitative role.

- Problem-Solving: Structured, analytical thinker capable of tackling uncertain, complex business challenges.
