Senior Product Manager – Live Events Software (6-Month Contract) – Fully Remote (UK)

Why Work Here (Role Overview)
We’re looking for a curious and motivated Junior Product Manager to join our growing Product team. This is a 6-month contract role for someone early in their career who is:
✅ Eager to learn and grow their product management skills ✅ Passionate about solving real client problems with structured, data-driven solutions ✅ Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally between Engineering, Design, Sales, and Professional Services
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering
- Active participation in client and internal sessions, capturing structured notes
- Breaking down raw requests into clear problem statements
- Asking probing questions to uncover hidden needs before proposals reach engineering

Requirement Writing
- writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria (ASCs) with a consistent, high standard
- Ensuring every story has:
- A clear rationale
- Testable acceptance criteria
- Enough context so Engineering & QA don’t need to guess what’s required
Epic & Ticket Management
- Breaking down large tasks into structured epics and stories
- Maintaining visibility of dependencies and sequencing
- Keeping a clean, trackable backlog in Productboard and Azure DevOps
Tracking & Documentation
- Keeping client requests current and spotting anything that’s stale
- Maintaining internal documentation and release notes for clarity
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Close partnership with:
- Engineering
- Design team
- Senior Product Manager
- Professional Services
- Keeping teams aligned with regular updates
- Raising questions early rather than working in isolation
What You’ll Need
Essential Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Product Management
- Experience in Agile environments and product development processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Hands-on experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, or structured requirements
- An analytical mindset with an interest in data-driven decision-making
- Well-organized, with a reliable and trusted backlog
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable drilling down on high-stakes accounts
- Bonus: Interest in SaaS, B2B, or customer-facing platforms

Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or analytics tools
- Previous exposure to ticketing, e-commerce, or similar B2B platforms
