Junior Account Executive | Consumer Health Team

Do you:

  • Have a passion for working in consumer health and wellbeing?
  • Get excited pitching to media and building relationships with journalists?
  • Want to be part of an award-winning team, working on campaigns for brands like Specsavers, ASICS and BetterHelp?

Then you might just be the Junior Account Executive we are looking for!

Golin Ketchum is recruiting an ambitious Junior Account Executive to join our Consumer Health team. From using humour and entertainment to challenge stigma around hearing loss, to developing a PE kit to empower girls to stay active, to partnering with a global superstar to encourage people to access mental health therapy—our work is bold, creative, culturally relevant, and, most importantly, meaningful.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who ideally already has some experience working in PR and wants to build their career specifically in consumer health and wellness. We’re seeking a trusted team player who can be relied upon across your accounts and the wider consumer health team. You will play an active role in team meetings and on client calls, support managing client requests, and be solutions-focused.

You’ll support the team in:

  • Crafting compelling media pitches
  • Securing coverage
  • Keeping both colleagues and clients informed on PR developments, competitor activity, and wider industry trends

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage client requests, fielding queries to the team as needed
  • Attend client and team meetings, taking detailed notes to circulate to attendees and updating progress on areas you’re working on
  • Take the lead on media monitoring, identifying relevant coverage for clients and flagging what deserves attention
  • Deliver work on deadlines, flagging issues and finding solutions with your team when necessary
  • Help troubleshoot and offer constructive feedback
  • Maintain a visible presence in the team, with strong communication both virtually and in-person
  • Be an active member of the consumer health team, sharing social trends, media stories, and brand campaigns with the wider group
  • Prioritise your workload and proactively communicate any concerns about meeting deadlines
  • Assist with managing account finances
  • Support financial processes including:
    • PO raising
    • Supplier setup
    • Chasing invoices
    • Running supplier cost trackers
  • Complete daily timesheets and understand how your time impacts the business and budgets
  • Source and maintain relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers
  • Carry out research for new business proposals and pitches

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
