About the Role

Role Summary

A PR Account Executive role working across The Boots Group account. The role sits within The Pharm – an integrated agency made up of experts from around the WPP network dedicated to The Boots Group.

This role provides the opportunity for ambitious, driven candidates looking to build a career in PR to work across Boots as well as the No7 Beauty Company portfolio, which comprises No7, Liz Earle, Botanics, Soap & Glory and Aromatherapy Associates. You will be part of a fun and collaborative 15-strong team of PR and influencer experts dedicated to this priority WPP client.

You must have a passion for beauty and consumer PR and the influencer landscape, ideally with some experience in consumer PR already under your belt. You should also be someone with strong organisational skills, and comfortable with important administrative responsibilities such as coverage tracking, measurement and evaluation.

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable passion for the beauty industry, and a keen knowledge and interest in beauty influencers and beauty media
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle projects
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and learn
  • Strong team skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good research skills and ability to think creatively
  • Some experience in a consumer PR or influencer agency or in-house is preferable
  • Good knowledge and interest for social media trends and influencers

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing press and influencer sample coordination and requests
  • Monitoring editorial and press coverage and managing coverage logs for clients
  • Responding to influencer and media enquiries
  • Monitoring the news agenda, identifying opportunities for our clients
  • Supporting on press and influencer events
  • Client reporting across accounts and coordinating client facing updates
  • Drafting press releases and media alerts
  • Assisting with Influencer briefs and managing paid Influencer deliverables and timelines
