Role Description
Title: Junior Account Manager - Beauty and Skincare
Department: Commercial
Location: London Office (Holborn) In-office role (not remote)
Schedule: Full-time (Mon Fri, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm)
Salary: 35k PA
Role Summary
The Account Manager manages day-to-day relationships with Korean brand partners and is responsible for commercial performance, compliance accuracy, and timely delivery of stock into the UK. This role replaces traditional Buying functions and focuses on vendor management, brand performance, compliance oversight, and cross-team coordination to support a high-needs brand portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Brand Lifecycle: Responsible for the full brand lifecycle from outreach and commercial negotiation through to agreed trading terms; coordination of contract drafting with legal and commercial teams; and onboarding across online and offline platforms.
- Brand Relationship Management: Primary contact for Korean vendors; maintain high-touch communication, weekly updates, and clear expectations.
- Outreach and Growth Development: Identify opportunities for new SKUs, brands, category expansion, and account-specific initiatives.
- Commercial Performance: Monitor sales, stock, margin, and sell-through; identify risks early and recommend actions.
- Reporting & Insights: Produce weekly brand summaries and monthly performance reviews, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Competitive Awareness: Monitoring competitor launches, pricing, and trends to inform brand strategy.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all regulatory documents (artwork, labelling) are correct, complete, and approved before launch; escalate gaps immediately.
- Launch & Activity Delivery: Manage critical paths for new launches, ensuring product information, assets, and timelines are completed accurately.
- Promotion Planning Support: Aligning with Marketing and Merchandising (Offline & Digital) on promo mechanics, assets, and stock readiness.
- Order & Logistics Coordination: Track PO placement, supplier confirmations, dispatch schedules, and inbound delivery dates; escalate delays and resolve issues directly with vendors.
- Stock Flow & Lead Time Management: Monitor supplier lead times, MOQ constraints, and production cycles to maintain healthy stock cover and avoid OOS.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Retail, and E-commerce to deliver brand plans and ensure all teams have required information.

- Experience in account management, brand management, buying, or commercial roles.
- Strong communication skills; comfortable managing demanding, high-volume vendor relationships.
- Strong understanding of compliance documentation and product regulatory requirements.
- Confident working with supply chain teams on orders, lead times, and inbound logistics.
- Analytical, organised, and proactive.
- Korean beauty experience desirable; Korean language beneficial but not essential
