At Kindling, we’re all about building lasting relationships between creative agencies and the brands they want to work with. But we’re not just another lead generation company. We do things differently. We don’t do mass emails or a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we create highly bespoke campaigns that are tailor-made for each client’s needs, building meaningful connections that get results.

As we continue to grow, we’re on the lookout for an Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This isn’t a role for someone just looking for a job, it’s for someone who wants to play a key part in the development of one of Manchester’s most exciting startups. We need someone who’s ready to take ownership, drive success, and shape the future of Kindling with us.

The Role

As a Junior Account Manager, you’ll be at the heart of what we do. You’ll be working with 3–4 creative agencies at a time, each with their own strengths, goals, and target brands. But this isn’t just about managing accounts. Your job is to help these agencies land high-value partnerships by identifying prospects, researching key decision-makers, and crafting highly tailored outreach strategies that actually make an impact.

You’ll work closely with our clients to help them refine their messaging, position themselves in the market, and ensure their outreach strategy is as compelling as the work we’re putting in for them. You won’t be booking meetings just for the sake of it, we measure success by the quality of the relationships and conversations you help create. Your role will directly contribute to Kindling’s growth, and you’ll be responsible for making sure our clients are seeing the results they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored target brand shortlists for each client, identifying their ideal prospects and developing strategies to approach them effectively.
  • Research key decision-makers at target brands, building detailed profiles on how to engage with them and what will resonate best.
  • Plan and execute personalised outreach to secure high-value introductions for clients, ensuring every interaction is highly relevant and meaningful.
  • Track outreach success through metrics like meetings secured, and refine outreach tactics based on engagement data and client feedback.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on their marketing collateral, website positioning, and messaging to ensure they are as impactful as possible in outreach.
  • Collaborate with Senior Account Managers and Account Leads to continuously improve and optimise outreach strategies, ensuring that our approach is always evolving.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, delivering regular performance updates, insights, and recommendations to keep them informed and engaged.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
