Junior Account Manager
Location: Birmingham (Remote role, required in office monthly) Salary: £32,000 + £10,000 OTE
About Our Client
Our client is a market research and insights business that helps organisations make better decisions using real customer and market data. They work across diverse sectors, delivering research projects that explore customer behaviour, test ideas, and uncover insights influencing strategic decisions.
They are now seeking a Junior Account Manager to support client research projects. This role is ideal for a graduate or early-career professional passionate about communication, problem-solving, and client relationships.
No prior research or account management experience is required—structured training and ongoing support are provided to build confidence, commercial awareness, and client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting Clients
- Work with senior account managers on client account portfolios
- Keep clients updated on project progress, timelines, and next steps
- Help develop long-term, professional client relationships

Managing Research Projects
- Assist from initial briefing through to final project delivery
- Collaborate with internal research teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Coordinate tasks, timelines, and updates to keep projects on track
Research & Insights Assistance
- Support creation of questionnaires, briefing documents, and research materials
- Assist with data verification and prepare insight summaries
- Learn how research findings translate into actionable recommendations
Organisation & Team Support
- Maintain accurate records and project documentation
- Assist with client reporting and administrative tasks
- Contribute to a collaborative, supportive team environment
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, comfortable multitasking
- Keen interest in business decision-making and market insights
- Confident interacting with people and asking questions
- Willingness to develop professional skills in a structured environment
- Degree in any discipline welcome (all backgrounds considered)
