Job Title: Inside Client Account Manager

Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid) Salary: £28,000 base + quarterly bonus + commission + additional incentives

About the Role

SHI aims to recruit an Inside Client Account Manager (ICAM) for their Milton Keynes team. This role is perfect for someone early in their career, offering a pathway to develop in customer-facing, commercial environments and build a long-term career in sales and IT account management.

As an ICAM, you will:

  • Support and manage customer accounts, ensuring quality service.
  • Work closely with internal teams and vendors to maintain seamless operations.
  • Identify and capitalise on account growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Prepare, manage, and follow up on quotes, orders, and renewals.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in order processing and administration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and sales teams to meet business goals.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and customer growth strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in internal systems.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and organised with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with customers to build long-term relationships.
  • Genuine interest in developing within a commercial or sales role.
  • Previous customer-facing or administrative experience preferred, but not essential.
