Role Overview
We’re seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team, specializing in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, with a focus on:
- Accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Treasury activities
- Month-end processes
This role demands a strong grasp of accounting principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to perform accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
- Assist with daily banking activities
- Support monthly and year-end financial closings
- Perform reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations
- Contribute to month-end close and management reporting processes
- Provide documentation for external audits
- Monitor accounts receivable and manage debt recovery, using outstanding payment follow-ups

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Experience: 1–2 years of post-qualification accounting experience, ideally in a fast-paced or multi-entity environment (FMCG industry experience is a plus)
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite (preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Key Competencies:
- Attention to detail and enhancing operational accuracy
- Understanding of financial controls, reconciliations and reporting deadlines
- Professional Traits:
- Organisation, proactiveness, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear communication and collaboration across diverse teams
- Problem-solving and analytical skills for proposing effective solutions
- Adaptability in multicultural settings
