Junior Accountant – Kensington, London

About the Role
LUCA FALONI is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team in Kensington, London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their accounting career who is keen to develop within a fast-growing international luxury fashion business. Working closely with the wider Finance team, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the company and help ensure that financial information is accurate, timely, and well controlled.
The role follows a hybrid working model, with four days per week based at our Kensington office and Fridays working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the processing of supplier invoices, expenses, and payments.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Perform bank and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Help maintain accurate accounting records across the business.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on payment queries.
- Support VAT returns and other statutory reporting requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve accounting queries.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation when required.
- Help improve finance processes, controls, and reporting.
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance team.

About You
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related subject.
- Some previous experience in an accounting, finance, or bookkeeping role is desirable.
- A good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with financial systems.
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive, curious, and solution-focused approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
- An interest in luxury retail, fashion, or an international consumer business would be advantageous.
- Studying towards, or interested in pursuing, a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA would be beneficial.
