Location: Remote Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent Industry: Finance / Accounting / Business Support
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity with full training provided, making it ideal for:

- Assist with processing purchase and sales invoices
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
- Reconcile supplier statements and customer accounts
- Process expenses and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare payment runs and assist with bank reconciliations
- Update accounting systems and digital records
- Assist with month-end finance administration
- Maintain confidential financial documentation
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team
Skills & Experience
- Interest in finance, accounting, or business administration
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Previous administration, customer service, retail, hospitality, or finance experience is beneficial
- Studying towards AAT or an accounting qualification is advantageous but not essential
- No previous finance experience required – full training provided
