Junior Administrator

About the Role

The Junior Administrator provides administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of digital systems and compliance processes across the Flannery fleet.

Working closely with the wider digital operations team, this role is responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting system monitoring activities
  • Coordinating information between departments
  • Assisting with pre-hire readiness checks

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical and compliance knowledge within a fast-paced plant hire environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining accurate compliance records and system documentation
  • Update internal databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools with system and fleet information
  • Support the review of compliance reports and identify missing or incomplete information
  • Maintain fleet records and assist with machine allocation updates
  • Support verification of machine details after installations, transfers, or configuration changes
  • Assist with data validation exercises and routine audits
  • Support daily monitoring activities by:
    • Reviewing system reports
    • Highlighting exceptions
  • Assist with logging faults, issues, and service requests for escalation to relevant teams
  • Monitor incoming requests and ensure they are recorded and tracked appropriately
  • Support communication between depot teams, engineers, and operational departments regarding machine readiness
  • Producestreasoning Reports and distribute information to relevant stakeholders

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with databases, systems, and digital platforms

Desirable

  • Previous experience in an administrative, operational, or compliance support role
  • Experience working within plant hire, construction, logistics, transport, or engineering environments
  • Familiarity with fleet management systems, telematics, or digital reporting tools
  • Understanding of compliance processes and record management
