We are currently supporting a client based in London who is looking to refine how they handle internal communication and project ownership. Our team is focused on helping them move away from verbal promises toward clearer, more durable habits. As a Junior AI Automation Developer, you will help us build the lightweight tools that make these new habits stick across their organization.

About the Role

This position exists to bridge the gap between our advisory work and the daily tools our clients use. While we focus on management structural changes, those changes often need small, smart automations to stay relevant and functional over time. You will be working in a fully remote capacity to develop scripts and workflows that help teams maintain their rhythm without adding extra manual work. This is an entry level role, meaning we are looking for someone who has a solid technical foundation and a curiosity about how technology can support better human management.

What You Will Do

  • Develop small automation scripts to capture and organize decision logs during client projects.
  • Set up connections between standard work tools like Notion, Slack, and internal task trackers.
  • Build simple prototypes for tools that help summarize meeting notes into clear, actionable owner lists.
  • Experiment with different language models to see which ones best clarify ownership within a team context.
  • Document how these tools work so that clients can manage them independently once our engagement ends.
  • Collaborate with our consultants to understand the specific management friction points we are trying to solve.
  • Maintain the underlying code for internal tools that support our own remote work culture and memory systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Are Looking For

  • A logical approach to problem solving and the ability to break down complex tasks into small steps.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical colleagues.
  • A genuine interest in how small pieces of technology can change human habits for the better.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying connected to the team through writing.
  • High attention to detail when it comes to both code quality and observing human processes.
  • A mindset that prefers simple, working solutions over complex or fragile systems.
  • The capacity to listen carefully to a problem before jumping into the code.

Helpful Background

  • Basic proficiency in Python or JavaScript, likely gained from university projects or independent study.
  • Experience experimenting with AI APIs or building small automation workflows for personal use.
  • A basic understanding of how APIs work and how to connect different software services together.
  • Familiarity with collaborative tools like GitHub for basic version control.
  • An interest in management theory, organizational structure, or productivity methods.
  • Previous experience in a remote setting, even if it was for academic collaboration or internships.

What We Offer

This is a permanent, full-time position that is fully remote, allowing you to work from wherever you are most productive. We focus on sustainable work rhythms rather than constant urgency, emphasizing deep work and quiet time over endless meetings. You will get to participate in high-level advisory work and see how large organizations actually function from the inside. The position is paid, and the pay is attractive and competitive for an entry-level role in this market.

About Olive Tree

Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution. A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear. These are rarely personality problems: they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company growth.

We favor practical changes over large-scale programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment. Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own. The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow-up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
