Junior Application Support Analyst

£25,000 - £30,000 + Benefits | Liverpool | On Site

The Opportunity

We're working with a growing consumer business that's investing heavily in its technology function and looking to appoint a Junior Application Support Analyst.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' experience to develop their career within Application Support and Business Systems. You'll work across a range of core business applications, supporting day-to-day operations while gaining exposure to system enhancements, integrations, and technology projects.

If you're looking to build your technical knowledge within a supportive team and broaden your experience beyond traditional IT support, this is a fantastic opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing

Application Support

  • Provide first-line support across a range of core business applications
  • Investigate system, order, and inventory-related issues
  • Troubleshoot application problems and escalate more complex issues where required
  • Maintain support documentation and knowledge articles

Project Support

  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changes and enhancements
  • Support configuration and implementation activities
  • Work alongside third-party technology partners on project delivery
  • Keep project plans and support tickets up to date

Continuous Improvement

  • Develop expertise across the organisation's application landscape
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements
  • Help improve support processes and documentation

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, has excellent attention to detail, and is keen to develop a career within Business Systems and Application Support.

You'll ideally have experience with:

  • 1-2 years' experience within Application Support, IT Support, or Business Systems
  • Exposure to ERP, CRM, or business applications
  • Experience supporting ecommerce or customer-facing platforms would be beneficial
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
