Junior Application Support Engineer

A Junior Application Support Engineer is required to join a leading global company based in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stage of their technology career who is looking to gain hands-on experience across product, systems, data, and platform delivery within a collaborative and supportive environment.

You'll work closely with Product Owners, Delivery teams, and Data specialists to help improve core business systems, support users, and contribute to ongoing platform enhancements. This role would suit someone with strong technical curiosity, excellent problem-solving skills, and a genuine interest in building a long-term career within Product and Technology.

As a Junior Application Support Engineer, you'll support the day-to-day operation of key business platforms, helping to deliver new features, troubleshoot issues, improve user experiences, and ensure systems continue to run smoothly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
