Ao Junior Shipping Coordinator : Fine Art Logistics Ao

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Location: Central London

Step behind the scenes of a prestigious contemporary art gallery and play a key role in orchestrating the secure, seamless journey of world-class artworks across the UK and internationally.

Your Mission

  • Coordinate the end-to-end shipping process for high-value artworks, from crating and customs clearance to final delivery and installation.
  • Build strong relationships with fine art logistics providers and internal teams to ensure flawless operations.
  • Prepare and meticulously review commercial invoices, shipping manifests, and customs documentation.
  • Manage timelines for temporary imports/exports and artworks on loan, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Keep clients informed at every stage, providing proactive updates and solutions to any shipment challenges.

What You Bring

  • Must have 1-3 years experience in logistics, operations or shipping, ideally within fine art, auctions or high-value goods.
  • Solid understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, able to manage and juggle multiple concurrent shipments effortlessly.
  • Confident communicator, liaising with teams, suppliers, and clients alike.
  • Comfortable working on-site full-time in a Central London office.
