About The Role
We're looking for a proactive, highly organised Junior AutoCAD Technician to translate project sketches, specifications, and engineering instructions into accurate 2D/3D technical drawings. Working under senior staff, they update modifications, manage document control, and ensure drawings comply with industry standards. Primary goals include learning the firm’s procedures and delivering precise structural, architectural, or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) plans.

As a Junior CAD Technician, you will support the design team in the production of technical drawings and project documentation across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, you will gain valuable industry experience and receive ongoing training to help advance your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify detailed 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings based on redlines, site surveys, and engineer markups.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from senior designers and contract managers.
- Support electronic project administration, including filing, updating bills of materials, and issuing drawings via document management systems.
- Ensure all drafting work adheres to internal CAD standards, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.

About You
- Previous experience in an office environment
- Highly organised and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Confident communicator, able to coordinate with internal teams and external contractors
- Proficiency / strong foundational knowledge in AutoCAD
- Strong attention to details, high accuracy in interpreting measurements, scales, and complex technical data
