About the Role

As a Junior Bartender at Booking Office 1869, you’ll support our team in delivering exceptional bar service, contributing to smooth daily operations, and enhancing guest experiences. This role is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality, eager to learn, and committed to developing their skills in a high-quality bar environment.

You’ll assist senior bartenders in maintaining high standards while gaining hands-on experience in cocktail preparation, stock management, and customer service. Teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail are key in this fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Bar Operations

  • Support the bar team in delivering smooth, efficient service across all trading periods.
  • Assist in preparing and serving beverages while ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met.
  • Help execute promotions and seasonal offerings to enhance guest satisfaction.

Stock & Compliance

  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with stock restocking, inventory monitoring, and waste reduction under supervision.
  • Support accurate transaction handling and cash management procedures.

Requirements

  • Desirable: Experience in a 5-star or luxury hotel bar environment (prioritised but not mandatory for entry-level candidates).
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, attentive approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Basic bartending knowledge or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Must hold the required alcohol licensing and safety certifications (or be able to obtain them).
