As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Bid Writer to join our established Bid Team based at our Manchester/Salford HQ.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong writing skills who is looking to develop a career in bid writing. Whether you've worked in bids, proposals, marketing, recruitment, communications or another writing-focused role, we'll provide the support and exposure to help you build your career within a growing team.
The Role
As a Bid Writer, you'll play an important role in producing high-quality bid submissions that support our continued growth across a variety of sectors. Working alongside experienced bid professionals and stakeholders across the business, you'll help create compelling, client-focused content that showcases our expertise and helps us win new business.

What You'll Be Doing
- Writing and editing high-quality bid and tender responses
- Gathering information from subject matter experts and translating it into clear, engaging content
- Supporting the coordination of bid submissions to ensure deadlines are met
- Reviewing content for quality, consistency and compliance
- Working closely with colleagues across the business to develop winning proposals
- Helping maintain bid content libraries and supporting continuous improvement within the team
What We're Looking For
We're less interested in where you've gained your experience and more interested in your ability to write engaging, accurate and persuasive content.

You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a writing-focused role such as bids, proposals, marketing, recruitment, communications, journalism or similar
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- Strong organisational skills and a collaborative approach
- A willingness to learn and develop within a specialist bid writing career
Previous bid writing experience would be beneficial, but it's by no means essential. If you're a confident writer with the right attitude and a desire to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
